One of the deepest field of top athletes anyone can remember were on hand to tackle the snow and slush in this season opener.

In 2009 this building saw a new name, The Willis Tower, and a new race SkyRise Chicago. The best stair climb athletes from the US, Canada, Mexico and Germany were on hand in the most competitive battle this stairwell has ever seen.

This monument built in 1891 commemorates the Battle of Bennington (A revolutionary war battle), and stands as the tallest structure in Northern New England. The American Lung Association is hosting the first ever stair climb race in VT and the first ever in the country inside of a historic monument.
